Ducati riders from all over the UK attended a Ducati VIP track day at Silverstone Circuit. Riders who had purchased bikes during the Ducati Superbike promotion were invited to a very special track event hosted by Ducati UK.

Ducati UK were supported on the day by the Ducati Xerox World Superbike team, Pirelli Tyres, R&G Racing, Biketrac, Ducati Coventry, Riders Ducati BSB team and California Superbike School.

Over 90 customers arrived at Silverstone and began the day by enjoying a breakfast in the Xerox team hospitality before putting their bikes through their paces on the track that had seen the World’s best Superbike riders the day before. California Superbike School instructors were on hand to marshal the on track riding and also provide some instruction. In between track sessions riders could take a breather and listen to some cornering tips from Andy Ibbott of CSS, hear a presentation by Ducati Xerox Team Manager Ernesto Marinelli or enjoy the Ducati Xerox hospitality.

After a sumptuous lunch the guests were invited to meet the Ducati Xerox team riders, Nori Haga and Michel Fabrizio who were happy to do autograph signing sessions. Other special guests included Ducati World Superbike rider Shane Byrne, who entertained spectators by putting the new Multistrada through its paces on track as well as a customer Desmosedici RR, and BSB title contender Michael Rutter who took the Riders Ducati out on a few demonstration laps. Other VIPs included Razorlight front man Johnny Borrell and brother Will who took to the race track for the first time and Kerrang radio presenter Luke Wilkins.

All the guests seemed to agree that this exclusive Ducati VIP day had been a fantastic occasion with wonderful hospitality from Ducati Xerox and excellent track organisation from Silverstone and CSS.

Ducati UK would like to thank all the guests that attended and the sponsors and partners who made this such a special track day.
